Annette really knows her stuff! After not doing any regular exercise in almost 10 years, the program really suited me. Each exercise is challenging without being overly strenuous and I really felt the effects of using muscles I never knew I had the next day. Following each session, I came away feeling I had learnt something new and had refreshed my soul! I have been working with Annette for the last 6/7 years and her classes have been extremely beneficial for me and my posture and core strength has grown considerably.  12 months ago I suffered an arm injury and had to forego my classes for some months but now I am in the Zen Den each week and am working to re-energise my strength, mobility, and self-confidence.  The Zen Den is especially great at the end of the class when we experience the quiet surroundings during meditation.  I am already experiencing the benefits of Annette's classes and learning valuable breathing and movement techniques which are already helping me improve each week.  It's great exercise for anyone of any age, you don't feel exhausted, you feel good about yourself at what you can achieve". Well what can I say other than the stretch class I attend on Thursday nights has become for me  like an addiction ! Nothing prevents me from getting there. At the  end of a very long hectic week I can walk in to Annettes session carrying all the stressses and strains of the  fast life I live , feel knotted up physically and mentally and  walk out an hour later with every muscle stretched, strengthened and released to carry on  another week . Prior to meeting Annette, I had suffered for months with bilateral hip pain, had undergone cortisone  injections, Physiotherapy, myotherapy and constant  agony over many months. I am now  pain free , have learned the art of relaxation and  have  really benefited from all the muscle strengthening and stretching each week. And apart from anything else, I really enjoy  Annette's gentle coaching and skillful way of making me work those muscles I never  knew existed!! So much so that I have also convinced family and friends to  join in to these sessions. I really recommend  a trial to experience Annette's  "whole" approach to the  human body.... TP 45

 

 

 

Eat for Zest opened my eyes to how I was eating and how I was feeding my family. I now know I have a responsibility and the awareness to change the eating habits of those around me. It feels great to have the tools to change the future health of my family.

I had been going to the Gym three times a week for two years, cycling, lifting weights, swimming, all under my own steam. I thought I was motivated. But I really did not see much of an improvement. I quit the Gym and joined Get Zest. Since starting Get Zest classes I have been pushed beyond anything I had know at the gym...all using my own body weight. Annette has skillfully guided me in working essential muscles that are necessary from a practical perspective rather than the aesthetic. I am now more aware of my poor posture and can engage core muscles to correct it. I am looking forward to learning more and challenging myself in the weekly classes.
